Develop a wireless network design plan for one of Apex Design’s buildings. Using the four
steps identified in Ch. 6 (pp. 204-211) of the text, you will complete the recommended steps
for designing a wireless LAN and create a wireless security policy. Apex Designs have
already completed some of the plan’s components, but it is up to you to complete the
remaining elements of the plan.
· Resources: Appendix A, Appendix H, & Appendix I
· Due Date: Day 7 [Individual forum]
· Select one of the five floor plans in Appendix H. Use the data gathered in the Week Five
Floor Plan Site Survey multimedia to determine the floor plan you would like to use in
your final project. The floor plan you select will be used throughout your final project.
· Use the template in Appendix I to compile the following components of your wireless
network plan:
○ Deployment Scenario
· Determine the correct deployment scenario (from those described on pp. 204-
205 of the text) for your network.
· Provide reasoning for the deployment scenario you selected.
